Overview
Rechargeable 2‑cell lithium‑ion battery pack for RECCO equipment. Built from high‑current cells to provide reliable runtime and sustained discharge; built‑in protection guards against overcharge, over‑discharge and over‑current. Charge only with compatible chargers and follow RECCO installation and maintenance instructions.
This battery pack is designed exclusively for use with RECCO equipment; do not use in other applications.

Storage & Handling
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Recommended long‑term SoC ≈ 30–50 %.
- Do not short circuit, puncture, crush, incinerate, or disassemble the pack. Handle with care.
- Inspect regularly for swelling, leakage, damage or overheating. Remove from service if any abnormalities are found.
- Use only Recco-approved chargers specifically designed for this battery pack. Do not use third-party chargers.
Safety & Emergency
- If pack becomes hot, emits odor, leaks, smokes or ignites: isolate, evacuate the area, and call emergency services. Cool surrounding cells with water if safe; follow local emergency procedures.
- In case of electrolyte contact with skin or eyes: rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention. Consult the SDS for full first‑aid instructions.
- Damaged packs should be placed in a non‑combustible container, terminals insulated, and disposed of or recycled via an authorized facility.
Disposal & Recycling
- Do not dispose of this battery pack in household trash. Lithium‑ion batteries must be handled as hazardous waste.
- Return spent or damaged battery packs to an authorized recycling center or retailer take‑back program.
- Insulate terminals with non‑conductive tape or place packs in original packaging before transport to prevent short circuits.
- Store damaged or swollen packs separately in a non‑combustible, ventilated area and notify your recycling facility for special handling instructions.
- Follow local and national regulations for transport of hazardous materials (IATA/ICAO, IMDG, ADR as applicable).
- Document disposal actions (date, quantity, receiving facility) for reporting requirements.
